TRACE OF MEMORY
A Place is rich with concepts which have highly specific context for those who know it. Â It is a context that inhabits personal memories, experiences, and associations for the one within it. Â The final installation is a collection of my memories, feelings and journeys. All the knowledge that I have accumulated as a result of constructing the previous pieces, and experimenting whilst doing so, is shown in my final installation. Â I value all the process of the work as it is as important as the final installation itself, since without all of the trials and errors encountered in previous sessions, it would have been impossible to create my final piece.

TRACES OF MEMORY
The feeling of home and the feeling of being somewhere else are totally the opposite, at least until you find your ‘new space’ becoming your new home.  Feeling pressure, being happy or sad, experiencing a sense of belonging or alienation are some of the emotional states that many people face when they move into a new space or society.  This installation is trying to express the feeling of moving away from home enabling audiences to understand the idea of transition through space.

FINAL INSTALLATION
This is the installation in which an attempt has been made to depict the concept of memories. Â Some memories might die out or fade with time, while others remain imprinted forever. Â This installation looks in places to be either growing or dying just like the concept of memories. Â Some areas are dense in term of layers, structures and photographs to shows the lasting memories. Â Other areas are very open and simple, representing those memories are perhaps unimportant and not retained in the memory.
The installation contained many photographs of my place; the collapsible door. It combines everyday objects that represent the feelings experienced in different places and spaces. Â These objects become more meaningful when they are placed in an unusual position.
